Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Automation Expert to join our Developer Enablement team. The mission of the team is to provide developers with the tools and support they need to build high-quality applications that meet our requirements.
This includes enabling developers to create, test, and deploy software applications using cloud infrastructure automation tools. The team promotes knowledge sharing and collaboration to create a community of enabled developers.
You will represent developer needs by providing technical support, building and maintaining automation solutions, and working with partner teams to ensure the platform meets their needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Help application teams standardise deployment configuration and process
* Accelerate deployment duration for application teams
* Work closely with application teams to get onboarded to internal platforms
* Provide technical support to developers using platform services
* Assist developers in building and deploying applications
* Troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve problems
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure the platform meets their needs
Requirements:
* 5+ years managing resources within cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
* 5+ years of experience automating the software development lifecycle with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CloudBees and Spinnaker
* Experience with Infrastructure Provisioning and Automation tools like Terraform
* Monitoring & Observability: Proficient with Dynatrace (APM) and SonarQube (code quality)
* Artefact repository management tools like Artifactory, Nexus or GitHub Packages
* Good hands-on experience with containerisation technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
* Implemented observability practices, tooling, and solutions
* Good inter-team communication and coordination skills
