This Accountant position provides financial support for the business. This includes month end journal entries, coordinating proforma invoices, and balance sheet reconciliations. This position collaborates with corporate finance and sales to ensure accurate financials for the business.
Essential Functions:
Provide instruction to and oversee work of external accounting providers
Coordinate expense accruals for month-end accounting cutoff
Prepare expense variance explanations for actual spending vs. plan
Ensure adequacy of internal controls
Ensure compliance with company travel & entertainment policy
Monitor accounts receivable and call on past due accounts
Ensure local statutory audits and filings are completed in a timely manner
Assist with banking relationships and treasury activities
Support ad hoc analysis for the India team.
Assist with preparation of quarterly forecast/ yearly budget
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A team player with the ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally
Excellent Microsoft Excel experience required
Good verbal and written communication skills are a must
Process improvement focus
Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously
SAP experience a plus
Minimum education and work experience required:
A Bachelor’s Degree in either Accounting or Finance is required.
Accounting experience
Must be a qualified accountant in Ireland or hold a recognized professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
Hybrid role: 3 days in the office - 2 Days work from home
