Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a senior role. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional who is ready to take on new challenges and contribute to delivering high-quality services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in adult inpatients within an acute hospital setting.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide therapy for patients with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties.
* Manage a senior caseload including stroke, neurological conditions, progressive disease, and acutely ill elderly patients.
* Deliver specialist dysphagia interventions using evidence-based best practice.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with an established SLT team, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based service to adults across all acute care areas, including Stroke, Age-Related Care, Critical Care, Respiratory, General Medicine, and Surgery.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need significant clinical practice in an acute hospital setting, experience in stroke, neurology, and/or other acute care specialties, and excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
