Temp Social Care Worker - Wicklow - ID Sector - €40k - €50k DOE: FRS Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Care Worker to join a well-established intellectual disability service in the Wicklow region.
This service aims to empower individuals with the necessary skills to encourage them to live fulfilling and satisfying lives as equal citizens of their local communities.

In your new role you will: Provide consistent 1:1 support to the service user across a structured daily routine as per the service user will and preference.
Encourage and enable meaningful engagement, respecting the individual's autonomy and communication style.
Build a positive relationship with both the service user and staff team.
Ensure compliance is in line with all regulatory standards and company policies.
All other tasks as outlines by your manager.
Be flexible if the individual chooses not to engage-use nearby facilities (e.g., a local coffee shop) during downtime.
Complete daily paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
To be a successful candidate you will have: A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related field and have CORU registration started.
Minimum 1 year's experience working with adults with autism and intellectual disabilities.
The ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
A calm, empathetic approach.
Full clean driving licence - manual driving experience preferred.
Open to engaging in banter, humour, and building authentic rapport.
Able to maintain professional boundaries while being personable and empathetic.
Confident with completing daily logs and reports.
