Emerald Airlines Emerald Airlines, in partnership with SOLAS, is now accepting applications for our four-year Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance Apprenticeship.
This programme combines hands-on experience with formal technical training, preparing the next generation of Aircraft Engineers.
What You'll Do
Work alongside experienced engineers on aircraft maintenance, covering both mechanical and avionics systems.
Learn to maintain airframes, jet engines, aircraft structures, and systems.
Study mathematics, physics, technical drawing, electronics, and workshop practice.
Complete practical and theory assessments, including coursework and exams, both on-the-job and off-the-job.
Training & Qualifications
On-the-job: Gain real-world experience at Emerald Airlines' maintenance facilities.
Off-the-job: Technical training at a college and Part 147 school.
Achieve an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (B1/B2), recognised internationally.
Paid throughout the apprenticeship, with annual pay increases.
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate, PLC, or equivalent (including Maths and/or Physics)
Strong mechanical and technical interest
Commitment to complete the four-year programme
Must pass airport security vetting
