Carron Insurances is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Executive to join our team in Blackrock. This role is primarily focused on the servicing and retention of existing clients, delivering high-quality advice and customer care across all personal lines products.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to manage and service an existing book of personal lines business, including car, home, and van insurance. The position is centred on building long-term client relationships, ensuring renewals are handled efficiently, and providing clear, professional advice that meets clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Service and retain an existing portfolio of personal lines clients
* Manage renewals accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring a positive client experience
* Provide clear, compliant, and customer-focused insurance advice
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
* Handle mid-term adjustments, queries, and policy administration efficiently
* Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations and internal procedures
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Work collaboratively within the team and contribute to a positive working environment
* Engage in ongoing professional development and CPD
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a personal lines insurance role within a brokerage or insurance environment
* APA (Personal General Insurance) qualification is essential
* Full compliance with the Central Bank of Ireland's Minimum Competency Code (MCC) and CPD requirements
* Practical working knowledge of Applied Relay is essential
* APA Commercial qualification is desirable but not essential; the successful candidate should be open to achieving or actively working towards this qualification
