Overview
We are currently seeking an ONSITE IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to assist with casual freelancing-type assignments in your local area. Would you be interested in contractual tasks? you will be paid either on an hourly or daily/half-day basis. Tickets will be dispatched with respect to your area & you may support them as per your availability (weekdays, weekends).
Tasks will primarily involve L1 & L2 IT/Networking support such as desktop assistance, hardware installation or replacement for Server/Rack parts (e.g., hard drives), and providing on-site console access (Router/Switch/Firewall) to assist remote teams.
Proficient in System Desktop Administration, Customer Service, Incident/Change/Release Management, and support for various third-party applications on Windows platforms
Formally trained & certified in IT Infrastructure Library and Windows Server Administration, with a strong focus on applying programming techniques for various initiative-based activities
Basic knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, wireless LAN troubleshooting, Ethernet desktop configuration issues, and subnetting
Skilled in technical troubleshooting with hands-on experience across different OS platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices
