Overview
Our client, a leading international reinsurance company based in Dublin, has an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Actuary to join their Actuarial Reporting team as Senior Manager in a permanent position. This role offers exposure to both traditional and innovative reinsurance solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, consolidate, and interpret financial reporting results from transaction reporting teams.
* Draft clear and concise documentation, presenting key insights to senior management.
* Prepare quarterly Actuarial Certificates for review.
* Support the integration of new transactions into financial reporting processes.
* Drive improvements to automate and enhance reporting efficiency and controls.
* Manage relationships with internal/external audit and peer review.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a trainee actuary.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Actuary with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience.
* Strong technical background in actuarial reporting and financial reporting.
* Proven stakeholder management and leadership experience.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint (SQL desirable).
