Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting Kitchen Assistants to work across a range of kitchen environments in Tipperary town and county.
This role involves supporting the kitchen team with food preparation, stock management, and wash-up duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and basic cooking tasks
2. Supporting chefs with day-to-day kitchen organisation and service preparation
3. Managing stock rotation and assisting with deliveries where required
4. Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
5. Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen, storage, and waste areas
6. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HACCP and health & safety standards
Candidate Requirements:
7. Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred
8. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
9. Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
10. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
11. Reliable, organised, and a strong team player
