Job Title
We are seeking a strategic policy leader to join our team as the Head of Policy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the objectives of the Policy and External Affairs Directorate through policy mapping, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain our reputation as a well-functioning regulatory agency.
A key part of this role is to assess national and international maritime policy developments as they relate to our organization. This requires strong research and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maritime governance and policy development. They will also possess the ability to maintain relationships with agency and department representatives through regular consultation.
