Join to apply for the Psychologist role at The Thrive Clinic. The Thrive Clinic is Dublin’s newest private practice clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive diagnostic Autism Assessment services for children. Our mission is to provide exceptional service that meets the growing demand for assessments in Ireland.

Role Type: Vacancies for both full time and contract. Role title: Clinical/Educational Psychologist. Level: Senior and Basic Grade.

Location: Anglesea Road, Dublin 4.

We are seeking qualified Clinical/Educational Psychologists with expertise in Autism assessment. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Psychological assessment, particularly in diagnosing Autism in Children, and will join a team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.


Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children suspected of having Autism.
* Administer standardised assessment tools and utilise clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses.
* Collaborate with other professionals, including speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, to gather comprehensive information and provide holistic assessments.
* Provide feedback and individualised recommendations to families regarding assessment results and intervention strategies. Refer clients to appropriate services as necessary.
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessment results and suggested interventions, and maintain confidential patient records.
* Work within limits of professional competence in line with best practice, professional conduct, and clinical governance.
* Stay abreast of current research and best practices in Autism assessment and intervention.


Qualifications and Experience

* Masters degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (or equivalent).
* Psychologist Level: 1 year+ post-qualification experience, working with children.
* Senior Psychologist Level: 5 years+ post-qualification experience, working with children.
* Accreditation (Chartership or equivalent) with PSI, BPS or other recognised post-qualification accreditation; specialisation or significant experience in Autism assessment and diagnosis.
* Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized tools used in autism diagnosis (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, Vineland).
* Strong clinical skills including diagnostic assessment, case conceptualisation, and treatment planning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and share ideas openly.
* Fluent English.
