Facilities Technician Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing facilities management, planned maintenance activities, moves management, H&S, and Energy Management of the highest quality in a County Donegal, Ireland location.
Main Responsibilities:
* To perform a range of technical duties to cover mechanical, electrical, and general building fabric maintenance tasks.
* To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control using the Plant CMMS/WorldFM system.
* To proactively identify and remedy equipment maintenance issues to maximise equipment uptime.
* To service electrical, mechanical, and non-technical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* To liaise with the help desk/engineering manager and respond to all non-technical and technical queries in a timely manner.
* To resolve faults and repair broken-down equipment efficiently.
* To assist subcontractors as required to complete tasks.
* To maintain accurate records in line with requirements.
* To assist in the installation of new plant and equipment to support business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Educated to Electrical Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Experience in utilities/facilities, formal training/certification in any of the above fields.
* At least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
* Basic computer knowledge is essential for the position.
Working Pattern: Monday-Sunday, Shifts. Location: Lurganboy - Donegal, Ireland.
