The Keadeen Hotel, part of The iNUA Collection is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee all financial functions of our 69-bedroom property.
This key leadership role ensures effective financial management, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning, while supporting operational departments in achieving financial targets.
The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the finance department and will work closely with the General Manager and ownership team.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and ownership.
Conduct detailed P&L and balance sheet reviews with appropriate variance analysis.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
Maintain a robust control environment and ensure all financial records comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Systems & Processes:
Maintain and develop financial procedures using Sage X3, Procure Wizard, and Elevon.
Monitor purchasing and procurement systems to ensure effective cost controls and compliance with budgets.
Ensure all reconciliations are completed accurately and on time (bank, control accounts, etc.
).
Cost Control & Profitability:
Drive cost control initiatives across departments, particularly in F&B and housekeeping.
Partner with HODs to improve margin performance and monitor KPI targets.
Monitor payroll costs in alignment with budgeted labour efficiency.
Audit & Compliance
Prepare and manage all internal and external audits, including year-end and tax compliance.
Ensure VAT, payroll, and other statutory returns are submitted accurately and on time.
Leadership & Communication:
Lead and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Provide financial insight and support to senior leadership and ownership, assisting in key strategic decisions.
Act as a key contact for banks, auditors, insurers, and other financial stakeholders.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CPA or equivalent).
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality setting.
Strong understanding of hotel financial operations and metrics.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Sage X3, Procure Wizard, and Hotsoft.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial data to non-financial managers.
