The role includes design, materials sourcing, and procurement, offering guidance to build teams and assisting in debug test activities where required.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping electrical designs for complex automation projectsDetailing electrical schematics for buildSourcing of electrical components for designsCreating test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designsAssisting in electrical debug of systemsLiaising with customers and suppliersMeeting project delivery deadlinesRequirementsCandidates must have a general electrical/electronic engineering degree/diploma, ideally with a manufacturing contentMust have a minimum of 3 years industry experience involving electrical design, industrial wiring and debugging of manufacturing equipmentFamiliarity with machine elements (electrical controls, AC/DC motors, servo motors, inverters, general panel equipment, drives and pneumatics)Experience of using software packages: Eplan, AutoCAD, Microsoft OfficeBasic knowledge of PLC programming and control methodologiesThe ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven to deliver within normally expected timelinesThe candidate will need to be a team player and fit well within a team of professional individualsCurrent driving licence and able to travel as requiredSalary and BenefitsAttractive Salary PackagePension SchemeOngoing development to become a key member of KAON Automation Engineering team
