We are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to join our team as Assistant General Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and motivate a team, drive sales, and maintain high operational standards in a dynamic bar & venue environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the smooth operation of the venue across all departments, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
* Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service, meet sales targets, and maintain operational excellence.
* Oversee bar, floor, and event operations to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
* Assist with staff recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management to foster a positive work culture.
* E nsure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations to protect staff and guests.
* Develop and implement effective cost control, stock management, and promotional initiatives to drive sales and profitability.
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally, enhancing the overall guest experience.
* Deputise for the General Manager in their absence, taking full responsibility for venue operations.
Key Requirements:
* Previous management experience in a high-volume bar, venue, or hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a strong understanding of stock control, labour management, and P&L.
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, with excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, late nights, and weekends as required.
