Job Title: Apprentice Dental Nurse

Salary and Benefits:

About the Role:

This Apprentice Dental Nurse position offers a supportive environment where you can learn and develop your skills. As a Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, you will gain knowledge, skills, and behaviours necessary to become a GDC-registered qualified dental nurse.

The role involves providing best patient care from initial consultation to treatment completion, working alongside experienced dental professionals, and assisting with chair-side duties.

This apprenticeship combines 'earning while learning' with the opportunity to achieve a Level 3 qualification after an 18-24 month training programme.

Key areas of study include oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems, how infectious diseases are transmitted and prevented, dental materials, equipment, and resources, medical emergencies, legislative compliance, clinical skills, health promotion, patient care and management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* To be eligible, you must possess a Level 2 English and Maths qualification (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) or demonstrate evidence of achieving these qualifications prior to taking the end-point assessment.
