There is currently one permanent, 0.80 WTE (28 hours per week) Radiographer (Staff Grade) vacancy in the Radiology Department at Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
A panel may be formed from this campaign for a Radiographer (Staff Grade) to fill current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of both full-time and part-time durations.

Purpose of the Post:
To carry out Radiographic duties in line with department protocols.
Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications, and / or Experience:
1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc
1. (a) Candidates must:
* (i) Be registered, or eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
* AND
* (ii) Have the necessary knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of duties, including a high standard of professional ability.
* AND
* (iii) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
2. 2. Annual Registration
* (i) On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register.
* AND
* (ii) Confirm annual registration with CORU via the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
3. 3. Health
* Candidates must be fully competent and capable of performing the duties of the role and in good health to ensure regular and efficient service.
4. 4. Character
* Candidates must be of good character.
