Job Title: Ticketing & Membership Operation Manager

Location: FAI HQ, Abbottstown, Dublin

Direct Reporting Line: Commercial Director

Commencement Date: TBC

Duration: Permanent / Full Time

Purpose of the Role

The Ticketing & Membership Operations Manager will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of all ticketing and membership initiatives. This role drives revenue growth, builds loyal fan relationships, and ensures full, engaged stadiums supporting FAI teams. The role oversees a team, manages ticketing operations for all FAI matches, and ensures a best-in-class supporter experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, manage, and motivate the ticketing & membership team to achieve operational and financial objectives.
* Develop and implement the FAI ticketing strategy in collaboration with the Commercial Director.
* Establish pricing structures, launch calendars, and innovative ticketing initiatives to maximise revenue and fan engagement.
* Manage relationships with ticketing providers to ensure smooth operations and excellent supporter service.
* Oversee match-day and non-match-day ticketing operations, ensuring positive and safe supporter experiences.
* Maintain membership and loyalty programmes (Club Ireland, Season Ticket holders, supporter groups) and reward loyal fans.
* Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on campaigns to drive ticket sales and maximise exposure.
* Monitor ticketing data, prepare reports, forecasts, and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR, health & safety, and event regulations.
* Build corporate accounts and upsell premium offerings, Club Ireland, and hospitality options.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

* Proven experience in ticketing operations, ideally in sports or large-scale events.
* Strong knowledge of ticketing systems such as Ticketmaster or similar platforms.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends around event schedules.

Desirable:

* Experience managing a team or leading cross-functional projects.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and GDPR compliance.
* Expertise in event planning and hospitality coordination.
* Knowledge of digital and social media trends for commercial engagement.
* Ability to create presentations or reports (PowerPoint/Canva).
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
