The role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, maintaining compliance with tax regulations, and providing client support. Key Responsibilities:
* Tax Compliance: Prepare corporate, VAT, and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with Irish tax laws.
* Client Interaction: Communicate with clients for tax-related information and liaise with Revenue Commissioners on submissions.
* Tax Reporting: Assist with tax provision calculations and tax audits.
* Research & Updates: Stay informed on tax law changes and provide compliance advice to clients.
* Team Collaboration: Work with senior team members and clients to ensure integrated tax services.
Key Requirements:
* Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Working towards or completed professional tax qualification (e.g., ATI, CTA, ACCA).
* Experience: 1-3 years in tax compliance, preferably within a professional services firm.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of Irish tax laws, attention to detail, excellent communication, and IT skills (Excel, tax software).
* Attributes: Proactive, team player, and deadline-oriented.
