Complex Nutrition produces food to a high standard ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety, quality and health and safety standards by introducing a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. The role involves the employee being an integral part of the team, working together and meeting production plans.
The Quality Assurance role will be to assist in the upkeep of quality management standards on site ensuring they are in line with GFSI accreditation and to implement quality assurance strategies in accordance with audits of products and processes. You will be involved in the preparation of internal and external audits and addressing instances of non-conformity.
* Liaise with all production employees and Technical team to improve our quality system and delegate of day to day quality tasks
* Incident actions.
* Manage internal audit requirement schedules and inspections and ensure corrective action plan implementation.
* Manage change control SOP's.
* Report accordingly to customers on any technical issues.
* Sampling and Inspection of Raw Materials and Packaging Deliveries
* Managing Raw material and Finished Product Traceability
* Manage product release documentation for quality release requirements.
* Attend regular quality process review meetings with management.
* Other day-to day queries, participating in on-going projects

Academic Background
Relevant Degree, ideally Food Technology, Quality Management, Environmental
Job Experience
Min 1 year experience as a Quality Controller /Quality Assurer, or a graduate.
Experience with quality management systems is favourable.
