Job Description
Head of Security & Network Operations
This is a senior hands-on leadership role where you'll guide overall security direction, manage a small technical team, and ensure the company's systems remain stable, secure, and scalable as the business expands.
You'll have responsibility across security engineering, network design, incident handling, tooling improvements, and long-term strategic planning.
* Oversee the design, maintenance, and evolution of all internal network and security systems.
* Develop and refine security policies, processes, and standards across the business.
* Manage firewalls, endpoint security platforms, logging solutions, and vulnerability tooling.
* Lead periodic reviews, assessments, and testing to identify weaknesses and implement fixes.
* Coordinate and guide response activities when security events occur.
* Drive continuous improvements to identity management, access controls, and monitoring.
* Maintain a reliable network environment (LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless) and resolve performance or capacity issues.
* Work with senior stakeholders to align infrastructure and security roadmaps with business needs.
* Manage vendor relationships and support accreditation or compliance initiatives where required.
