An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Automation Engineer to join a leading automation solutions provider. This role involves end-to-end project ownership, from system design to commissioning, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring both hands‑on technical expertise and the ability to guide project teams and processes in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver automation projects through all stages, from design to implementation aligned with ISO9001 quality standards.
Develop specifications for control systems including electrical, mechanical, and software components.
Act as a key point of contact for clients before, during, and after project delivery.
Identify project risks, manage bottlenecks, and maintain delivery timelines.
Promote and uphold health & safety practices, including appropriate use of PPE, reporting hazards, and adhering to company policy.
Support team development by mentoring junior staff and sharing technical knowledge.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, professional engagement.
Take initiative in driving engineering standards and process improvements.
Carry out other relevant duties as required by project or management needs.
Requirements
Extensive experience in automation engineering (ideally in a senior capacity).
Strong understanding of control systems, electrical, mechanical and software.
Proven track record of project and team leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and collaborative teamwork.
Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment.
