Operations Leadership Role
The Operations Manager will play a pivotal part in leading our teams and ensuring the successful execution of projects. With a strong focus on strategic decision-making, policy development, and procedure implementation, this role requires exceptional leadership skills and experience in operations management.
* Lead multiple project teams across Ireland and internationally to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the desired specification.
* Manage compliance with health and safety legislation and conduct effective assessments, reporting incidents and participating in investigations as needed.
* Support project management and cost control, providing regular reporting to the project and finance teams.
* Assist in developing commercial operations, aligning resources with company strategy and financial targets.
* Manage quality assurance of subcontractors and their ability to maintain scope, programme, and cost.
* Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain best pricing and service levels for security equipment and installation services.
* Ensure regulatory compliance with local laws, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
* Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and system access.
* Conduct final inspections to ensure all systems are operational and meet specified requirements and standards.
* Oversight of project documentation, including as-built drawings, system configurations, and operational manuals.
* Post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
* Management of programme risk and early interaction to ensure deliverable dates and details are achieved.
* Develop and maintain relationships with the management team, subcontractors, and clients, responding to customer requests and concerns.

Requirements
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with:
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* IT fluency and familiarity with MS packages and MS Project or similar scheduling packages.
* A third-level qualification in a construction-related field, coupled with at least 15 years' post-graduate experience or 5-10 years in a Project Management role with a recognised integrator.
* A proven record of delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or pharmaceutical projects.
* Data centre experience is desirable but not essential.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive forward the installation strategy.
* Strong commercial awareness with an electrical background is highly desirable.
