Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead and manage complex projects.
This role requires a strong background in project management, with a focus on electrical infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
* Lead and manage civil engineering projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
* Maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
* Oversee and manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity on site.
* Ensure all civil works comply with relevant standards, local regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
* Identify potential risks to project timelines or costs and implement mitigation strategies to address them.
* Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within the allocated financial scope.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, preferably with a focus on ESB or electrical infrastructure projects.
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is desirable, along with professional certifications such as PMP or ICE.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
