Security Architecture Lead
A forward-thinking organisation undergoing a major transformation is building out its security architecture capability and adding someone who can steer technical direction while staying close to the systems to understand how they behave in real-world scenarios.
The environment is diverse, encompassing cloud, on-prem, internal platforms, edge devices, and store-side technologies. The success of this role hinges on shaping security design that aligns with business objectives rather than hindering progress.
You will be responsible for developing guardrails that tie together multiple technology stacks, ensuring future projects incorporate security into their foundational aspects.
This includes reviewing solution patterns, defining standards, guiding design decisions, and serving as an escalation point for architectural gaps. You will collaborate across infrastructure, application teams, product units, and internal stakeholders to align technical direction with the wider security strategy.
* Develop and maintain the overarching security architecture framework across cloud, network, applications, and data.
* Translate business goals into actionable security patterns, principles, and design guidance that teams can utilise.
* Lead architectural assessments for new systems and significant technology changes.
* Establish secure-by-default patterns for internal teams and support adoption across multiple business units.
