Asset Management Role
The Asset Manager serves as the primary owner's representative for each asset, providing leadership with respect to asset management of existing and future properties within specific sectors.
The role involves acting as a key interface between an asset's owner and senior regional personnel, providing oversight for all aspects of selected existing properties' performance.
This includes developing short and long-term strategies to maximize value and tenant satisfaction, creating annual property valuation analyses, and performing market analysis.
The Asset Manager is responsible for monitoring property operating and financial performance, ensuring established goals are being achieved.
They manage leasing activity, including creating lease analyses and negotiating economic/legal terms, reviewing and approving authorizations and lease documents prior to ownership execution.
Effective communication and relationship management skills are essential in this role, focusing on client relationship management and maintaining relationships with tenants and potential ones.
The successful candidate will possess a degree in Estate Management, Property Economics or equivalent, be SCSI/RICS qualified, and have at least three years of experience in commercial real estate, including relevant asset or property management experience.
Key skills include the ability to work independently, think creatively, and contribute to project success, analyzing real estate from a strategic point of view, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Argus valuation software.
