As a Key Account Manager, you will be instrumental in strengthening our presence in the retail pharmacy sector by driving sales growth.

In this role, you’ll be based in Ireland with flexible remote work and access to our Naas office. You’ll join a diverse, collaborative team with colleagues in Denmark and the Netherlands.

Our goal in the retail pharmacy sector is to strengthen our presence by growing sales of existing products, introducing new offerings, and fostering long-term, strategic partnerships with our valued clients. Reporting to the Country Manager, the Key Account Manager will drive growth by managing key Irish retail pharmacy accounts.
Your Main Responsibilities Include
* Developing strong business relationships and driving sales from A-Z in the retail pharmacy sector.
* Achieving sales targets and KPI’s set by the Country Manager.
* Build and maintain strong knowledge of Abacus Medicine’s model and products to engage customers effectively.
* Plan and schedule customer calls to ensure consistent and tailored support that meets their specific needs and aligns with our business.
* Using CRM, sales databases, competitor data, and internal reports to analyze and support revenue growth, order processing, and delivery planning.
* Collaborating closely with the Portfolio Management Team and other departments within the organization.
* Ensuring regulatory compliance by following relevant Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining accurate records.
Fuel for your success in the role
This position is a hybrid role, primarily field and home-based, with occasional visits to Abacus Headquarters located in Copenhagen.
In Addition, We Expect That You
* 5+ years of pharma sales experience and strong customer relationship skills are essential.
* Understand the Irish Healthcare system, key stakeholders, and their impact on retail pharmacy.
* Have fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a professional level is required.
* Have proficiency in computer systems, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
* Hold a current, full, valid Irish (or equivalent) driving license due to the field work in this role.
* Are independent, responsible, and highly adaptable to a work environment where personal ability and delivery are of utmost importance.
* Preferably have a Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a strong focus on commercial understanding. However, candidates with substantial relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
