We are currently recruiting for a Technical Training Instructor to join our client, a global leader in construction product innovation.
The company operates a well-established Technical Academy that plays a key role in educating professionals on best-in-class building methods, energy-efficient solutions, and compliant product installation techniques.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone passionate about construction best practices, fire and thermal system education, and sustainable building methods, who also enjoys hands-on training delivery and developing others.
You will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical training programs, supporting the development of new training content, and ensuring the safe, efficient operation of training environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* D deliver engaging and informative hands-on and classroom training sessions across construction products and systems.
* Support the creation of training materials, toolkits, and visual displays.
* Maintain tools, training spaces, and health & safety standards at all times.
* Liaise with training attendees, internal teams, and external stakeholders before and after training sessions.
* Assist with updating website content, training calendars, and CRM (Salesforce) records.
* Participate in inspections, feedback sessions, and reporting of training performance.
* Contribute to the development of new training modules that reflect emerging construction trends and regulations.
Requirements:
* Construction industry experience, ideally in dry-lining, plastering, or energy-efficiency systems.
* Confident presenting to groups, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working with technical drawings and installation standards.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, and ideally familiar with CRM or learning platforms.
* Strong team player who enjoys collaborative problem-solving and continuous learning.
* Valid drivers licence and flexibility to travel to various training sites and customer locations.
