Job Description
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. We are looking to employ a highly motivated and committed individual who is interested in working for an organisation that makes a difference to people's lives. The successful candidate will be part of ADAPT's Charity Shop Team who are responsible for raising funds to help support the work of ADAPT.
Key Responsibilities
* Public Awareness Duties
* Assist in the design of ADAPT promotional materials
* Assist with promoting the profile of ADAPT/ADAPT Shop using social media
* Design posters and leaflets to promote ADAPT Shop
* Photograph shop items for online market sales
* Attend awareness raising events as required for ADAPT
* Assist with the 16 Days of Action campaign and other campaigns that ADAPT may run
* Assist with promoting fund-raising events on social media and help with fund-raising events as required
* Record all requests for public awareness materials on computer
* Duties in assisting in the Shop
* Assist in the day-to-day running of ADAPT Charity shop
* Check that all electrical and battery items are in working order
* Repair damaged items for re-sale
* Deal with customer queries, requests and concerns
* Deal with sales, merchandising and display
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the Shop
* Operate the cash register
