About the Role
This strategic leadership position is responsible for overseeing the Divisional IT project portfolio, managing a team of project managers, and ensuring successful delivery of critical initiatives.
* Lead and manage complex technology programs across multiple platforms, ensuring successful delivery and implementation.
* Drive governance and oversight of the project portfolio, including strategic initiatives like Core Banking and Custody platform evaluations.
* Oversee project initiation processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance standards.
* Manage RFP processes for banking systems, ensuring thorough vendor evaluation and selection.
* Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards.
* Represent projects at the Portfolio Board, providing status updates and strategic insights.
* Establish and maintain strong partnerships with IT Leadership, Development teams, Business stakeholders, and Divisional Management Team.
* Lead high-priority initiatives, providing hands-on management when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 10+ years of project/program management experience in financial services IT.
* A proven track record of leading complex banking technology implementations.
* A strong understanding of banking operations and systems.
* Experience managing and developing project management teams.
* Professional certification in project management.
* Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication.
* Deep knowledge of project governance frameworks and best practices.
