Exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support the delivery of heating projects within a growing renewable heat business.
This role combines mechanical design responsibility with project engineering and site coordination, offering strong exposure to full project lifecycle delivery.
This is a hands‑on role in a scaling renewable heat business, offering clear progression, technical depth and the opportunity to influence project outcomes and standards.
Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design for heating systems from concept to installation.
Act as Project Engineer on assigned projects, coordinating mechanical works through delivery and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, Irish/EU standards and SEAI SSRH requirements.
Coordinate with electrical, controls, civil teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
Support installation quality, testing, commissioning and handover.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
3–5 years’ experience in thermal, heating or energy projects.
Experience supporting or managing projects on site.
Competent with AutoCAD/SolidWorks and standard project tools.
Strong communication, organisation and safety focus.
