Accounts Assistant
An Accounts Assistant is required in Dublin 3 to manage daily transactions, month-end reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. Accuracy and compliance with company policies and Irish accounting standards are essential.
Your Responsibilities:
* Assist with month-end journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger reconciliations.
* Support management accounts, audit schedules, and finance reporting.
* Maintain fixed asset registers and accurate cash flow records.
* Process supplier invoices, credit notes, payments, and reconcile supplier accounts.
* Post customer receipts, issue invoices/credit notes, and support debtor collections.
* Complete weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
* Assist with payroll, VAT returns, contract pricing, and general finance administration.
Your Requirements:
* Proficient in Excel and accounting software (SAP, Opera)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance or accounts roles
* Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and account reconciliations
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach
