Job Title: Transport Compliance Specialist
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Professional to join our team and contribute to the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our transport fleet.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining consistency and ensuring compliance with operational standards. They will oversee internal and external providers' adherence to legislation and compliance standards, keep up-to-date with future legislation, and work closely with the management team to implement solutions for regulatory changes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain safe, efficient, and compliant transport operations across the ROI Group.
* Oversee internal and external providers' adherence to legislation and compliance standards.
* Keep up-to-date with future legislation and collaborate with the management team on solutions for regulatory and industry changes.
* Lead and monitor transport compliance activities, driver processes, and KPI performance.
* Build strong stakeholder relationships to support operational excellence.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and sharing best practices.
* Maintain governance, reporting, and compliance with evolving legislation.
* Embed a culture of safety, compliance, and operational discipline.
Requirements:
* National or International Certificate of Professional Competence qualification in Transport Management.
* (Desirable) Strong understanding of ROI transport legislation, road safety, and compliance standards.
* Experience with transport operations, logistics, and fleet management practices.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Good knowledge of IT systems.
