How would you like to experience a more senior position in a busy and innovative Sleep and Pulmonary Physiology department?
You will have the opportunity to develop your supervisory and managerial skills while having the support of Chief Physiologists.
Applications are therefore invited for the permanent position of Chief 1 Respiratory Physiologist in St. Vincent's Private Hospital.
Essential Criteria Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
(i) Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) or Dublin Institute of Technology (D.I.T) Or
(ii) Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMP) Or if qualified in or prior to ****;
(iii) Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from DIT Or,
(iv) An equivalent scientific qualification as confirmed by the IICMP The post holder must: Have a minimum of 5 years satisfactory relevant post qualification experience in both Pulmonary and sleep physiology in a recognised clinical Laboratory Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
Desirable Criteria It is desirable for the post holder to be able to demonstrate where they have experience in: Managing a service or having responsibility for aspects of a service Supervising a team of physiologists and having oversight of student clinical placements.
