Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Projects Manager to lead the delivery of complex mechanical, electrical, and energy infrastructure projects within industrial environments. This role requires a technically strong and highly organised individual who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage contractors and stakeholders, and ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. The Projects Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects — from scoping and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover — driving successful outcomes that enhance energy performance and operational efficiency across client facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the execution of multiple energy, infrastructure, and decarbonisation projects across industrial sites.
* Oversee all project phases, including planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
* Ensure project completion within agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
* Serve as the central point of contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and internalengineering teams.
* Facilitate regular progress meetings and provide clear, concise project updates to allstakeholders.
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource allocations, and deliveryplans.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment onproject goals.
* Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, and control costs.
* Work with finance teams to manage invoicing, cash flow, and project profitability.
* Uphold safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project activities.
* Lead commissioning and validation processes to ensure project deliverables meetperformance and regulatory requirements.
* Identify potential risks early and develop effective mitigation strategies.
* Maintain and update risk registers and contingency plans throughout project delivery.
* Ensure all project records, reports, and technical documentation are complete andaccurate.
* Produce executive summaries and dashboard reports for management and clientvisibility.
Core Competencies
* Demonstrated expertise in managing complex engineering and energy-related projectsfrom conception to completion.
* Strong track record in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
* Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in industrial or utility-scale settings.
* Experience with energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and utility infrastructure systems(e.g., steam, CHP, compressed air, renewables).
* Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to presenttechnical information to senior audiences.
* Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, and sitecoordination.
* Commitment to maintaining and enforcing best-in-class HSE standards.
* Skilled in managing vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
* Familiarity with contract forms such as NEC, FIDIC, or bespoke agreements.
* Strong decision-making ability with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 8 years' experience managing projects in energy, industrial, utilities, or capital project environments.
* Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
* Strong understanding of sustainability principles, energy systems, and decarbonisation technologies.
* Experience with industrial clients in sectors such as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals,Medical Devices, or Data Centres is an advantage.
* Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel to client sites as required.

Pay: €70,000.00-€94,858.66 per year
