You will work closely with Davy's fixed income trading, distribution and research teams, leveraging Davy's global fixed income franchise and be a thought leader for debt capital markets solutions.You will be the primary relationship manager for key issuers, responsible for delivering innovative funding solutions, managing the full lifecycle of debt issuance, and enhancing Davy's profile in Irish debt capital markets. Key Responsibilities Lead origination of new debt mandates for Irish financials, corporates and semi-states (benchmark EMTNs, private placements, green/social/sustainable bonds, hybrids).Advise issuers on market conditions, investor appetite, pricing trends, and regulatory developments relevant to the Irish and European markets.Develop and execute client coverage plans, leveraging Davy's network and market insights to identify new business opportunities.Identify and originate bespoke financing opportunities in the Irish DCM space, with a focus on off-balance sheet solutions for state and semi-state sectors (e.g., infrastructure and housing).Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the government, corporate, and semi-state sectors.Lead cross-functional deal teams, ensuring effective communication and project management.Contribute to the strategic direction of Davy's DCM business, supporting growth and innovation initiatives.Transaction LeadershipOversee end-to-end execution of DCM transactions: pre-deal engagement, structuring, marketing material, documentation (with DCM/legal support), internal approvals, syndication, pricing, and settlement.Coordinate with internal teams (syndicate, distribution, trading, corporate finance, legal, compliance and risk) and external parties (legal firms, accountancy firms, rating agencies).Lead investor engagement, including deal / non-deal related roadshows and bilateral investor meetings.Ensure best-in-class execution, risk management, and regulatory compliance (including Irish and EU regulations). Market Presence & Brand Building Represent Davy at industry conferences, client events, and thought leadership forums in Ireland and internationally.Raise the profile of Davy DCM through active participation in market and client-facing activities. About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills Key Experience & Qualifications Significant experience (typically 8-12+ years) in debt capital markets origination, ideally with previous exposure to the Irish debt landscape,Deep understanding of fixed income and credit marketsDemonstrated track record of originating and executing primary DCM transactions across a range of products and client types.Experience in complex debt transactions, including private placements, securitisation, synthetic risk transfer, and project finance.Experience with Irish and EU regulatory frameworks (Prospectus Regulation, MAR, MiFID II, etc.).Experience with ESG/sustainable finance and digital innovation in capital markets is highly desirable.Proven leadership and team management skills.
