Junior Quantity Surveyor Job Description
* Prepare, negotiate and analyze costs for tenders and contracts.
* Evaluate subcontractors' qualifications in line with management systems.
* Procure subcontractors and prepare documentation for orders.
* Certify subcontractors' interim payments and prepare final account valuations.
* Manage and value variations on contracts.
* Produce monthly cost reconciliations for contracts.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself.
Job Requirements
* Possess a third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
* Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project.
* Show strong team leadership skills.
* Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
