The Role
As Deputy Head Chef, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to lead a talented team in creating inspired dishes that exceed expectations. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
The Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, ensuring seasonal and local ingredients are prioritised.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Monitor stock levels and control waste to ensure efficient operations.
* Lead the team in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring continuity of leadership.
