As a plumbing department head, you will lead and develop our plumbing operations to achieve sales and revenue goals. With strong knowledge of plumbing products, excellent people skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, placing orders, and collaborating with suppliers.
1. Department Management & Sales:
* Lead and manage the plumbing department to achieve sales and revenue targets.
* Drive sales growth through strong product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling.
2. Customer Service:
* Provide expert advice on plumbing products and solutions to trade and retail customers.
* Handle customer inquiries, process sales, and provide after-sales support.
3. Inventory & Merchandising:
* Manage inventory levels, place orders, and collaborate with suppliers.
* E nsure the plumbing section is well-organised, clearly merchandised, and fully stocked.
4. Team Support & Development:
* Train and support staff in plumbing product knowledge and sales techniques.
* Help develop a knowledgeable, confident team that delivers exceptional customer service.
