Arnold's Hotel, Dunfanaghy is currently recruiting a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.
This role is ideal for someone who has some kitchen experience or has recently completed culinary training and is looking to develop their skills in a professional, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily food preparation
* Preparing vegetables, sauces, soups, and basic dishes
* Supporting senior chefs during service
* Ensuring all food is prepared in line with HACCP and food safety standards
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Correct storage and labelling of food items
* Learning and developing cooking skills under the guidance of senior chefs
The Ideal Candidate
* Some previous kitchen experience or relevant culinary training
* A strong interest in food and hospitality
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Good awareness of kitchen hygiene and safety
