Junction 14 Mayfield, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare is now seeking a positive and energetic Supervisor to join our team. The purpose of the Supervisor’s role is to provide day‑to‑day front line management to ensure high standards are met in the successful running of the Spar Shop at Junction 14 Mayfield.
Main Duties
Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the cashier operators
Handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the store’s procedures
Open and close the store
Ensure staff dress and appearance is in accordance with company policy
Possess an in‑depth knowledge of relevant legislations, including Health & Safety Regulations, Employment Legislations and Consumer Law
Ensure proper liaison between staff and management
Provide the highest standard of customer care to all customers
Assist in the induction, training and development of staff in the store
Ensure company rules, policies and procedures are adhered to
Ensure proper timekeeping and attendance of staff members
Attend any training or development programmes as directed by store management
Actively live the brand values and engage others to do the same
Place orders
Carry out any other duties as directed by store management

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a similar Supervisor position
Strong general leadership and people skills
Excellent communication skills and a solution‑focused, high‑drive, positive attitude
Customer focus – aware that the customer comes first and capable of resolving concerns
Personal drive – able to work independently with confidence and attention to detail
Integrity – honest, respectful teamwork
Teamwork – comfortable leading and following within a team
