Role:The Product Development Technician provides technical support to engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, performs rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Develops and recommends procedures and methods, prepares technical reports and documentation, and performs technical evaluations to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Responsibilities:Design and develop delivery systems for client companies.Assemble, test, and package complex mechanical devices following written and verbal instructions.Collaborate with engineers to design and develop assembly methods.Maintain accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers.Train assemblers, technicians, and engineers in assembly methods.Maintain accurate inventory records.Assist with in-process testing to ensure products meet specifications.Skills and Qualifications:Technical Diploma advantageous.Braiding and lamination experience desirable.Balloon Catheter development or manufacturing experience desirable.Does this sound like your next career move?
