This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the development of innovative, market-ready diagnostic solutions from concept through to launch.What you'll do:Develop and deliver end-to-end programme plans for complex NPD projects, aligned with strategic prioritiesLead, inspire, and coordinate cross-functional teams to bring new products to market efficiently and effectivelyManage timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectationsOversee the full product development lifecycle — from ideation to commercial launchIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks across the programme lifecycleCollaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and senior leadershipAnalyse market needs and customer feedback to inform product strategyTrack key performance indicators and promote continuous improvementDeliver progress updates to senior management and cross-functional partnersChampion clear, consistent communication across teamsQualificationsWhat you'll bring:A degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences or a related field5-7+ years of experience in programme or project management, ideally in life sciences, medical devices, diagnosticsor pharmaceuticalsProven success delivering complex, cross-functional projects or programmesStrong working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.)Expertise in budgeting, risk managementand stakeholder engagementExceptional leadership, communicationand problem-solving skillsPMP certification or equivalent is desirableFamiliarity with manufacturing and supply chain processes is an advantageProficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or similarAdditional InformationAt LGC, our purpose is Science for a Safer World,and our people are key to delivering it.
