Hooked is a busy, well-established seafood restaurant in the heart of Galway, known for high-quality food, warm hospitality, and a strong team culture. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience and are now looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor to support our Floor Manager and help lead our front-of-house team.
The Role
As Floor Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role on the floor, supporting the Floor Manager with the day-to-day running of service. You will help train and motivate staff, manage the floor during busy periods, handle customer queries and complaints, and ensure that Hooked's high standards of service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Floor Manager in overseeing all front-of-house operations during service
* Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service
* Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of floor staff
* Manage daily staff briefings, floor plans, and section allocations
* Act as first point of contact for customer feedback and complaints, resolving issues professionally
* Liaise closely with kitchen management to ensure smooth service flow
* Monitor floor standards including cleanliness, presentation, and organisation
* Support with bookings, walk-ins, and efficient table management
* Assist with staff supervision, motivation, and performance
* Oversee till systems, cash handling, and end-of-day procedures when required
* Help with stock control for service items (menus, cutlery, uniforms, etc.)
* Support light social media and promotional content where required
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations
Requirements
* Previous experience in asupervisory or senior floor role in a busy restaurant
* Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving ability
* Calm under pressure and confident managing a busy floor
* Highly organised with great attention to detail
* Positive, professional, and proactive attitude
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
