As a Sales District Manager Trainee for Frito-Lay, you will complete a 9-month onboarding program designed to develop the skills needed to promote to a Sales District Manager position.
The program includes 4-6 months of route-level training to learn the business fundamentals, our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network, and supply chain, along with the role of frontline route sales reps you will eventually lead.
ResponsibilitiesComplete all activities in the Sales District Manager Trainee onboarding program.Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and store management while executing sales programs.Lead district meetings focused on achieving sales objectives.Coach route sales reps on performance, sales, and customer service skills.Develop sales strategies using statistical data and PepsiCo applications.Partner with the supply team to ensure product availability based on forecasts.Deliver sales presentations to customers as needed.Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.Compensation and BenefitsExpected salary ranges from $60,000 to $100,500, depending on experience and location.Post-training promotion to Sales District Leader with a 15% bonus target.Additional salary increases upon promotion, within guidelines.Paid time off, including parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, Insurance, Retirement Plan.Mileage reimbursement based on company policy.QualificationsBachelor's degree required.At least 2 years of team leadership with proven sales results.Experience in consumer packaged goods and DSD environment preferred.Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Valid driver's license and ability to meet DOT & Fleet qualifications.Safe driving record preferred.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
