Job Description
The Assistant Accountant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function for an expanding hospitality business, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and working closely with operations.
This position involves various tasks including purchase invoices, supplier statements, post daily takings and reconcile EPOS reports to cash and card receipts, perform bank and cash reconciliations, customer sales invoicing assist with payroll preparation and processing month-end & reporting assist in preparation of monthly management accounts accruals prepayments journal entries stock cost-of-sales analysis food beverage sundries assist with year-end audit liaise external accountants operational support work closely management teams help improve financial processes internal controls ad-hoc finance admin duties as required.
