Job Overview
We are looking for a Team Lead to oversee disability care services in Mullingar, Westmeath. This role will cover 7 twelve‑hour shifts within each fourteen‑day cycle.
Responsibilities
Provide person‑centred care and support through practical, physical, and emotional assistance to residents with intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, or autism.
Coordinate shift duties and manage the on‑floor team.
Supervise and mentor other staff.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver services to residents.
Report directly to the Person In‑Charge and deputise when necessary.
Qualifications
Level 5 qualification in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with disability modules (or equivalent).
Experience
Minimum of three years working in a residential, respite or day service setting with people with intellectual disability.
Desirable: Experience managing a team.
