Warehouse Supervisor

Candidates: The role is based in Knock, Co Mayo - candidates should be based within a reasonable commute. Interviews will take place on site in September. The Role:
* Manage the Warehouse Team and ensure all parts are labelled, recorded accurately in Avsight, stored safely and packed and distributed to specification to meet our customer requirements.
* Manage the goods-inwards inspection and examine the airworthiness status of the components.
* Responsible for maintaining a well organised, clean, tidy and safe working environment.
* Responsible for month end reports.
* Manage picking and packing of orders and assist team in meeting orders on time.
* Embed best practice Shipping Procedures.
* Train staff on all aspects of an efficient warehousing resource.
* Maintain high levels of Health & Safety and ensure the team and any visitors understand and follow the Health and Safety procedures.
* Deliver regular meetings with Operatives for the purpose of instruction, training, information and motivation.
* Act as Fire Warden to ensure safety measures are met.
* Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and provide the senior management team with updates on the warehouse outputs.
* Be able and qualified to provide Fork Lift Operations.
* Be able to manually handle items in the Warehouse and be able to perform regular light and medium manual handling.
* Adhere to the approved Stores Procedures Manual at all times and provide feedback to ensure the Manual is kept up to date.
* Ensure proper and accurate usage of the company computer system for managing the warehouse.
* Liaise with other departments such as sales, repairs, assets and technical services to ensure adherence to EirTrade and industry procedures at all times.
* Other duties and tasks may be assigned as they arise.
* Take part in all Eirtrade Initiatives and actively work to ensure yourself and the whole team work to strive for excellence across the 3 Eirtrade Performance Pillars.
Qualifications:
* Interested in Aviation and the Aviation sector desirable.
* Capacity to apply common sense and pragmatism as required
* Able to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives
* Have good PC Skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to deliver to a high standard.
* Confident to work alone and as part of a team.
* Forklift License desirable but not essential
* A strong communicator

Skills:
* Demonstrate behaviour in accordance with EirTrade Business Ethics and Protection policy in all company business dealings and decisions.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks taking ownership end to end.
