With residential demand for solar at an all-time high, we're expanding our field sales team and looking for motivated professionals to help grow our reach across the country.
Role Overview
As a Solar Energy Consultant, your primary focus will be selling solar PV solutions to homeowners across Ireland. You'll work directly with customers in their homes, providing expert advice, performing initial site assessments, and delivering tailored solar proposals that demonstrate real financial and environmental benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit homeowners to conduct in-person consultations and assess the suitability of their property for solar installations.
* Prepare and present compelling, personalised solar PV proposals including system design, energy savings, grant eligibility (e.g., SEAI), and return on investment.
* Close sales and achieve monthly performance targets.
* Maintain accurate records in CRM system and manage your sales pipeline professionally.
* Attend residential-focused marketing events and local community shows when required.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and excellent customer experience post-sale.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in B2C or residential field sales (solar PV, energy solutions, or home improvements a strong advantage).
* Strong communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
* Self-motivated and confident working independently on the road.
* Technically minded and capable of learning solar system basics and relevant grant schemes (training provided).
* Excellent organisational skills and follow-up discipline.
* Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Desirable:
* Previous experience selling solar PV or energy-efficiency products to homeowners.
* Familiarity with SEAI grants and Ireland's residential energy landscape.
