We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our client's team and play a key role in optimizing indirect spending across multiple categories. Role Overview This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse procurement projects, partnering with global stakeholders and external suppliers to support the development of sourcing strategies that drive efficiency and value. The role is ideal for someone with a background in indirect procurement, category management, and contract negotiations. Responsibilities Support the category leader with the implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives across indirect spending categories. Support supplier selection and negotiations to secure the best commercial terms. Utilising procurement tools such as Ariba, to support the category leader to deploy a strategy for assigned areas of spend. Collaborate with internal business teams and global procurement colleagues to ensure alignment with procurement objectives. Support the category leader to prepare data which enables clear commercial advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Maintain the established supplier relationships and contribute to contract development to maximize value. Help to drive continuous improvement in procurement strategies and cost optimization initiatives. Background required Experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect spending and category management. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent analytical skills to evaluate sourcing opportunities and make data-driven decisions. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP/Ariba is highly desirable. A degree in Business, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
